Dear Saints in Christ,

I first want to thank you all for your cooperation and patience during these last many months as we have done our best as a Church to navigate the ever-changing and confusing Coronavirus conditions.

Due to the recent up-tick in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, at this point I, in consultation and agreement with the Board of Elders, am kindly asking everyone, as you are able, to wear face coverings at all services (8:00 and 10:30 on Sundays; 7:00 on Wednesdays) and Bible Studies. It is what we all are being asked to do in the public sphere. I do acknowledge that there are medical and/or legal reasons which may be binding your conscience against wearing them and am not asking anyone to go against their conscience. I do ask that everyone be respectful of each other, masked or unmasked, as we gather to receive the “one Thing needful” (Luke 10:42) every week in Word and Sacrament. As Jesus would not take this away from Mary, may neither I nor anyone else take it away from you! May the good Lord deliver us from this pestilence.

In Christ, Pastor Hromowyk

For ALL services, we will continue to maintain physical distancing. Please sit in the pews clearly unmarked, which do not have “Please Leave Vacant” signs.

For Holy Communion, parishioners may either come up to the Altar rails to receive the Sacrament or remain in their pews. If you do not want to come up to the rails, but still desire the Sacrament, after the last table is dismissed, please stand up signifying you want the Sacrament brought to you. You may sit down after receiving the Sacrament in both kinds. There will be one blessing for everyone at the end after singing the last verse of whatever Distribution hymn is being sung when the Distribution is over.

COMMUNION STATEMENT
Special note to our visitors and guests: Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith which is confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of this congregation and The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, are kindly asked to refrain from partaking of the Sacrament until first speaking with our Pastor.
